About Pinetree Pickleball Leagues

Pinetree Pickleball Leagues is bringing a flexible league format to Pickleball players in the Greater Bangor Area!

What is a "flexible" league?

Flexible means you play at times that suit you. You can sign up for singles or doubles and, if playing doubles, you pick your partner. You will play the entire season with the same partner. You’re matched against players at your level and are also located within the Greater Bangor Area. Each player/team has a week to play his or her match against their assigned opponent for that week. This allows people with extremely busy schedules to still get out and compete on the pickleball court.

How does the league work?

Each regular season consists of 7 matches in 8 weeks, with the last week being a make up week for any matches that weren't able to be played due to weather issues, vacations, life, etc. After the regular season concludes, the top 4 teams in each division will compete in a playoff to decide who is the champion. At the start of each season, each player or team will receive their playing schedule. Once your match is complete, login to the website to submit your scores and see how you fair in the standings!

Where are the matches played?

When registering for the league, you will decide your "home" court. On the Venues page on our website you can see all the different options of home courts in the area. Each week, either you or your opponent will be considered the Home team and wherever they have decided their home court is, that's where the match will be played. You and your opponent can always decide to play that week's match at another local court as long as everyone mutually agrees.
